May 14th, 2012A major new network TV cooking show came to Film Cars to supply them with a Citreon H Van for the chefs to use as they tour Britain. As experts in the field, supplying the long term hire of a VW to Rory and Paddy’s Great British Advernture series 2, we were well placed to help. Using our industry contacts a suitable van was sourced, prepared and set off for filming this week. Watch this space for more news once the series hits the TV screens.
Harley Davidson on television

Film Cars were delighted to supply a Scottish built Hillman imp for a promo film of the forthcoming book “The Road to Lisbon” by Martin Greig and Charlie McGary. (link above) We supplied a Hillman Imp and a period camera. We have 6 of these classic cars which were built in Scotland from 1963-1976 as well as a warehouse full of period props. Happy Lands – Feature Film
February 10th, 2012Film Cars were delighted to work with Theatre Workshop on their forthcoming feature Film Happy Lands which will be relased on the BBC on 30th May. Film Cars were drafted in as Scotlands leading experts in period vehicles. We supplied the film with a 1920s bus, 1920s motorbikes, and a Citreon Traction military truck. As well as vehicles we purchased turn of the centuary Bicycles for the cast to use as props. Look out for our clients vehicles on this forthcoming film. Monte Carlo or Bust!
February 8th, 2012Film Cars once again sponsored a car for the recent Monte Carlo Historic Heritage Run, a 1973 Hillman Imp. PAUL COULTER was at the event covering the story for Classic Car Weekly. A full report is available on page 68 of CCW Wed 8th February. It was good to meet so many of our trusted clients at the event in Clydebank where 100 classics gathered to see off the 12 Official Monte Carlo rally cars before the others followed on the heritage run to Dumfries. Monte Carlo Rally 2012
January 10th, 2012Once again Paul Coulter of Film Cars will be covering the Monte Carlo Historic Rally on behalf of Classic Car Weekly. The 2012 start from Clydebank on 29th January is set to be spectacular with 6000 spectators coming along to see over 100 classic rally cars start the journey to Monaco. Paul Coulter will follow stage 1 as far as Dumfries in his Hillman Imp. Come and say hello.
